I’ve dealt with knee osteoarthritis for over a decade. Stairs have always been a challenge, but the Z1 gives a gentle push that helps reduce fatigue. It feels somewhere between a cool gadget and a life-changing tool—and it’s definitely worth it for me.

Early days yet with the Dnsys Z1: it takes some time to adjust everything properly, understand how it works and how it could help you. Still, the first impressions are very promising: the much-suffering right knee feels no pressure or pain in some warm-up exercises, including squats. To be continued, for sure.

Something I don’t talk about much is that I’ve dealt with quite a bit of knee pain over the last few years as a hiker on the big downhills, so getting the chance to try technology designed to help you move more efficiently, carry heavier loads, and reduce impact on your legs was very intriguing.

I’ve had a very positive experience with the Z1. The build quality is excellent, it’s comfortable to wear, and it provides noticeable support, especially when walking uphill and climbing stairs. I really like the concept and believe it has a lot of potential.
